Audi has introduced its high-performance SQ7 in 2016 with diesel engines but driveability is very high

The graph of performance has been lifted up at the German automaker’s performance records where the SQ7 is a high-performance car and it uses the Audi diesel engines to surpass the all previous records. This diesel engine is capable of crossing the output limits of the tri-turbo diesel engines used by BMW on its X5 M-performance models especially the M50d.

What is it?

The al new SQ7 is a performance version of the Q7 and it comes with more sporty looks to warn the others about the performance level it offers.

It is hiding a giant under the hood, a 4.0-litre TDi engine that features world’s first electric powered air compressor to deliver the power to two turbochargers and help them to achieve stunning outputs of around 435bhp and 663 lb-ft of torque.

The Engine Performance

It is a V8 dual turbocharged common rail diesel engine which has a massive displacement of 3956cc. It can push the SQ7 extremely hard on the road but the top speed has been electronically controlled to 155 miles per hour. However, the 62 miles per hour benchmark can be covered in 4.2 seconds which is imperative.

What do you think that fuel economy should matter? Because engine experts say that when it comes to the performance, fuel economy become an uninteresting thing. As a Bugatti Veyron can gulp its full fuel tank in 11 minutes on the track when perform like a pro and on other hand, a model S can go miles with a gallon of fuel.

In the case of the SQ7, it can cover 39 miles per gallon on average which is good enough for a performance car.

Smooth but Powerful Driving

The all new SQ7 has very smooth operations due to the most advanced configurations to eliminate the turbo lag. These configurations offer powerful acceleration and once you press the fuel pedal, it roars like a monster and shoves like a rocket on the road.

Although it has a V8 engine but it sips fuel hardly equal to a 6-cylinder engine. It is a lightweight car with a sport differential, electromechanical active roll stabilisation and all-wheel steering with a long list of driver assistance systems. Let’s dive into the all-new SQ7 and ride like a pro on the track.
