Only 1000 examples will be made.

Mind Blowing Top Speed

First deliveries will be made later in the summer and Fiesta ST200 will go to production in June. The standard Ford Fiesta ST churns out 180bhp and the ST200 version gets 10 percent more power than that. It takes 6.7 seconds to go from 0-62mph which is 0.2 seconds faster than the standard car. The top speed is mind blowing at 143mph.

Improved Performance Figures

The ST200 was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show and was the most powerful production Fiesta ever. Ford has also modified the gear ratios to improve in-gear performance as well as working with the car’s over-boost system that adds extra power and torque for up to 15 seconds.

The ST200 also gets a torque vectoring system, 3-mode stability control, quicker steering and lowered suspension with special damper settings. The ST200 comes in an exclusive ‘storm grey’ exterior paint colour, with black 17-inch alloy wheels, extra trim for the interior and red brake calipers.

Tough Competition

The seats are part-leather Recaro seats with silver stitching, illuminated scuff plates and new seatbelt. It faces a very hard competition from Ford’s tuning partner, Mountune.

The firm offers a £599(plus fitting) upgrade for the standard Ford Fiesta ST which takes power up to 212bhp and cuts 0-62mph time to 6.4 seconds. The upgrade doesn’t void the car manufacturer warranty too. There is no word on the ST200’s economy figures, but don’t expect too much difference from the standard ST’s 138g/km efficiency and 47.9mpg.

The hot new Ford Fiesta ST200 gets 197bhp Ford has confirmed prices for the new Ford Fiesta ST200, with power up to 197bhp, alloy wheels and fresh paint.
